WHO SPONSORS THIS?

The neighborhood clubhouse is a business of the Branches of Family, Inc., a non profit local corporation formed to enhance the quality of life for the elderly and/or disabled of Cochise County and their families by providing supportive, affordable day care.

WHY DAY CARE??

We believe day care is a viable alternative to other models of elder care for several reasons:

1. It enables people who need extra care to continue to live at home with family, yet allows family members/caregivers the opportunity to maintain autonomy and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.
2. Day care is generally much less expensive than institutional care, easing the stress of financial worries but still providing nurturing care of loved ones.
3. Since the activities during day care are geared to individual interests and abilities, it provides an opportunity for the elderly and/or disabled to continue contributing to society in as many positive ways and for as long a time as they are able.
4. Our day care program is concerned with the entire family, those who give care as well as those who need care; therefore, by participating in day care, the entire family is supported and strengthened.
5. Day care promotes the rights of each individual to be treated with dignity and respect by allowing choice, independence, and privacy.

WHAT IS THE FACILITY LIKE?

Our facility is a spacious single family residence located in a quiet Sierra Vista neighborhood. We are licensed by the city and can accommodate 4 persons at a time; consequently, we have a very high ratio of caregiver to client, 1:1 or 2:3 or 4.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Day care fees are currently $11/hour if you schedule more than 15 hours per week and $13 per hour if you schedule less than 15 hours per week. Currently, our services are covered by some care insurance policies or are private pay. Part time as well as full time schedules are available. Drop in clients are welcomed when space is available.
